Matcha Highball

An earthy, vibrant highball with umami and citrus notes, inspired by Japanese tea ceremonies.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Gin (e.g., Roku Gin)

  • 1/2 oz Green Chartreuse

  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1/4 oz Honey Syrup (1:1 honey to water)

  • 1 tsp High-Grade Matcha Powder

  • 3 oz Sparkling Water

  • Garnish: Lemon twist and matcha-dusted rim

Rim a highball glass with matcha powder and chill it in the freezer.

In a shaker, combine gin, Green Chartreuse, lemon juice, honey syrup, and matcha powder. Shake vigorously with ice until the matcha is fully incorporated.

Strain into the prepared highball glass over ice.

Top with sparkling water and gently stir to combine.

Garnish with a lemon twist and a light dusting of matcha on top.
